About the Event

Over 20 years teaching Yoga and Pilates I have found Seniors to be the most rewarding students to teach. They are dedicated, loyal and loads of fun. 

They often say they are reluctant to join mixed age group classes and some have anxiety and medical issues, and are happy to find a class specifically with others in their age group. 

This course will give you some skills to teach a fun class designed which is perfect for many seniors! No chairs and minimal props.

The senoir students are relaxed knowing there is not going to be any pressure to do more than they are capable and knowing what to expect each week, confident they will be able to do all the moves!

These classes are a culmination of my experience teaching both Pilates and Yoga to Seniors, the classes are super slow flowing and cater to injuries, and all levels of seniors and as a bonus the seniors class also can be used for beginners or rehabilitation yoga.

 I feel its important to offer classes specific to seniors as starting something new late in life can be daunting. You will be able to ensure they feel catered to, safe and confident knowing what to expect. Seniors yoga offers them creates a sense of community and new friendships develop.  

This Yoga just for Seniors course is a  further training course for Yoga and Pilates teachers. I will share with you all you need to know to get out there and start offering seniors great classes they will love! 

You will aquire the skills needed to teach this age groups safely and effectively.

Time Investment:  12hours total, 10hrs with be attending the live online training which includes practical work, and theory. A futher 2hrs (minimum) of homework will be assigned.
