About the Event
Thai chi and Qigong are ancient practices which improved health, fitness, wellbeing and longevity. They both cultivate the Qi or Chi, the life energy that flows through the body’s energy paths or meridians, this is done through specific movements, breathing and meditation. Practicing Qi Gong can harmonise, strengthen and have a healing effect on the functioning of all the internal organs and bodily systems. It increases the supply and flow of energy throughout the body, can have a variety of rejuvenating effects and is believed to increase longevity it also is known as meditation in movement and helps to reduce the fluctuations of the mind.
while I am by no means an expert of thai chi teacher I have been practicing for 10 years and it has become vital part of my Yoga practice. I would like to share with you what I learned! While living in Singapore I studied Thai chi and other Martial Arts, all as part of my Yoga Teacher Training programme.
I will share with youy my knowledge and ptractice.
I will teach you some moves to practice the cultivation of Chi plus a Qigong sequence to take away for your own personal practice, you will then be able to pass this on to your students.
